GLADIATOR COMMUNITY PROTECTION – SECURITY INCIDENT

On 1 October 2026 at approximately 13:15, Gladiator Community Protection personnel responded to a suspicious incident at a business premises in Carletonville.

Two male suspects were observed on CCTV moving between vehicles and repeatedly monitoring the movements of security personnel. The suspects later approached an occupied vehicle, with one attempting to engage the occupant while the other positioned himself at the opposite side of the vehicle and attempted to open the door.

The client immediately alerted security, and Oscar Mike and Romeo 1 responded.

Following a review of the CCTV footage, the suspects were detained pending the arrival of SAPS. During the incident, one suspect attempted to flee but was successfully apprehended by Oscar Mike at the intersection of Ada Street and Zeolite Street.

Both suspects were safely handed over to SAPS and transported to Carletonville Police Station for further investigation.

The incident is being treated as suspected criminal activity, with SAPS investigating the suspects’ possible involvement in vehicle and cellphone-related crimes.

🔥🚒 FIRE RESPONSE | CARLETONVILLE 🚒🔥

On the 28th ofSeptember, Gladiator Community Protection responded to a house fire in Carletonville.

Although the property is not a Gladiator client, our team responded to assist and worked alongside the Fire Department at the scene. When there’s an emergency, helping the community comes first.

🚨 SERIOUS N12 COLLISION 🚑

On Sunday afternoon, Gladiator EMS responded to a serious truck and bakkie collision on the N12 between Fochville and Potchefstroom.

🚑 Our ambulance treated and transported one seriously injured patient to Carletonville Hospital for further care.

Sadly, one person involved in the collision later passed away. Our sincere condolences go to their family and loved ones.

Thank you to all emergency services for the excellent teamwork on scene.
