This is why I get reviews/feedback/after-hours pics of fireplaces with accompanying messages of appreciation... It's because Winter 2026 has barely begun and I'm already buying in freshly cut bluegum for Winter 2027. It will get rained and shined on for a whole year until it's perfectly dry and seasoned for your fireplace.

Remember me and be sure to grab your winter stock early next year before it sells out. And remember too, from about now the selling of wet and small pieces (small dries quick - so the thinking goes) will invariably become commonplace and catch many buyers out in their desperation to keep home fires burning..

When a prospective buyer says they got a better price elsewhere I ask..

1. How big are the pieces? Little fiddlesticks, medium or CHUNKY?
2. Is the wood dry, partially dry or downright wet?

It makes a big difference when it comes down to you having to tend to your fire for an hour just to get it going, and then feeding it every 10 minutes all evening because the pieces burn up too quickly..
