We recently fitted an anti-siphon unit onto a client’s UD Truck, giving the owner some extra protection against one of the headaches no truck owner wants to deal with. Fuel theft.

This particular unit offers serious protection without compromising the truck’s everyday operation:

The short-chamber anti-siphon unit offers 75% more protection than its nearest competitors.
No impact on flow rate – tested at 120+ litres per minute
Flow apertures with teeth help prevent 6mm+ siphoning tubes from bypassing the device
This particular unit is recommended for medium and heavy trucks with tank sizes under 400L, plant equipment and refrigerated trailers

Fuel theft can be an expensive problem, but a small bit of preventative protection can go a long way.

If you’re looking to protect the fuel in your truck or fleet, give ATP Coolparts a call.

A little reminder that it’s not always the big jobs that need attention.

We recently supplied a client with a set of lockable diesel caps for his Volvo - a small addition, but one that can make a big difference when it comes to protecting your fuel.

And if you’re in our delivery area, we’ll even bring it to you at no extra charge.

Because sometimes you need a refrigeration unit… and sometimes you just need a diesel cap.

Our latest project involved the installation and commissioning of a SUPRA 850 on a brand new FUSO refrigerated truck for a client operating in the frozen poultry distribution sector.

Operating at a setpoint of -20°C, this vehicle has been purpose-built to maintain product integrity throughout the cold chain. Applications like these demand more than just cooling capacity. They require rapid temperature pull-down, stable box temperatures during frequent door openings, and reliable performance over long delivery routes.

The SUPRA 850 is engineered for high-capacity, diesel-powered refrigeration, making it an ideal solution for medium- to large-sized rigid trucks where consistent temperature control is critical to preserving frozen products.

At ATP Coolparts, every installation is carried out with precision. From unit mounting and electrical integration to refrigerant system commissioning and final operational testing. Ensuring the vehicle is ready to perform from the moment it leaves our workshop.

Whether you're transporting frozen foods, meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, pharmaceuticals, or other temperature-sensitive products, we can supply, install and support a refrigeration solution tailored to your operation.

A brand-new Isuzu FTR850 AMT Euro 5 refrigerated truck recently came through our workshop, where our team installed a Carrier Supra 550 refrigeration unit to prepare it for its important role in the cold chain.

Before it headed off to start its journey, we decided it deserved one final ATP touch.

A proper wash and shine!

Because let's be honest, a truck that's built to deliver fresh products should leave looking fresh too. 😉 Sometimes it's the small details that make the biggest difference.

The Carrier Supra 550 is engineered for reliable temperature control, strong pull-down performance, and consistent cooling, making it an ideal solution for businesses where maintaining product quality from collection to delivery is essential.

At ATP Cool Parts, we don't just install refrigeration units, we take pride in every vehicle that leaves our workshop. From the workmanship behind the installation to those finishing touches before handover, we believe every detail matters.

A big thank you to our valued client, a leading Western Cape meat supplier, for trusting ATP Cool Parts with another addition to your fleet.

We appreciate the opportunity to be part of your journey and wish you many safe and successful kilometres ahead.

Roof-mounted for maximum space-saving inside the vehicle, lightweight at around 63kg, and built for everyday delivery demands, this unit is all about keeping your cold chain moving smoothly.

Some jobs start with a simple fault… and end with our technicians opening a panel and wondering how the unit was even still running.

A client recently came to us with an issue on his in-cab control unit. Once we opened it up, we discovered wiring that could only be described as “creative engineering” - and not in a good way.

Our team got straight to work, sorted out the wiring properly, fixed the fault, and had the client back up and running before he knew it.

Sometimes the problem isn’t the unit itself… it’s what someone else did to it along the way. Luckily, our technicians know exactly what to look for.

For repairs done right the first time, trust ATP Coolparts.
