VACANCY AVAILABLE – SITE COORDINATOR
BTM Joinery | Cape Town / Western Cape
BTM Joinery is looking for an experienced and organised Site Coordinator to join our team.
We specialise in the manufacture and installation of kitchens, built-in cupboards and vanities for residential developments and private homes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate and oversee joinery installations on construction sites
• Plan and coordinate installation teams and subcontractors
• Liaise with contractors, site teams, project managers and our factory
• Ensure units are ready and accessible before installation teams are sent to site
• Monitor installation progress against programme and deadlines
• Identify and report site delays, access problems and areas that are not ready
• Coordinate snagging and ensure outstanding items are completed
• Check workmanship and ensure installations meet BTM's quality standards
• Keep accurate records, photographs and site reports
• Attend site meetings when required
• Communicate site changes and instructions back to the office and production team
• Ensure installation teams comply with site rules and health & safety requirements
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate should:
• Have previous experience in construction, joinery, cabinetry or a similar site environment
• Have experience coordinating teams and subcontractors
• Be able to read basic drawings and understand construction programmes
• Have strong planning and organisational skills
• Be confident communicating with contractors and site personnel
• Be able to identify problems early and follow up until they are resolved
• Be comfortable using email, WhatsApp and basic computer systems
• Be reliable, professional and able to work under pressure
• Have a valid driver's licence and own transport.
Experience with kitchen and cupboard installations will be a strong advantage.
