The garden takes on a new life after dark.

Now, with the new lighting in place, the space transforms after dark. The staircase leads down to the circular pond, and the wooden deck becomes a quiet resting spot surrounded by soft, glowing water.

The garden becomes a completely different space at different times of the day.

When we first shared this garden back in June, it was captured in daylight — before the lights were installed. A few months later, we returned to experience it under entirely different lighting: at sunset.

As the sun dips, the colours shift and the garden takes on a slower rhythm: calm, grounded and full of warmth. It’s a moment that captures the garden‘s quieter side, just before night settles in.

A simple shape, endless calm.

There's something timeless about a circular pond — soft lines, balanced form, and gentle movement. They feel deliberate yet natural; a focal point that changes character as the light shifts through the day.

At the lower edge of the garden, a stream that runs beneath the house reappears in a water feature designed for both play and beauty.

The stone-lined channels guide the flow, creating shallow pool where children can explore, while the sound of running water ties the space back to the wild landscape around it.

Stone was a central element in shaping this garden.

We worked with the same stone found naturally in the area, combining it with carefully placed rocks and hand-built features. It’s a blend of raw and refined — where the stone feels both deliberate and rooted in place, adding to the wild, natural feel of the garden.

We’re deep into the early stages of our urban farm project.

These before-and-after photos were taken just a month apart — the site has gone from dense, overgrown garden to a cleared, open site ready to build on.

It might look bare, but this is where the groundwork is laid. Before something great takes shape, the space needs to be reset. Full of potential.
