Our team had the opportunity to design, manufacture, and install custom EGD desks — created to support precision, creativity, and practical learning in the classroom.

From concept to classroom transformation ✨

We had the privilege of designing, manufacturing, and installing custom EGD desks for Rhenish Girls' High School — and what a rewarding journey it has been.

The goal?
To create a workspace that truly supports Engineering Graphics & Design learning — where precision, creativity, and practicality come together.

From the initial concept, through to prototyping and production, every detail was considered to ensure the desks are:
• Functional and fit-for-purpose
• Durable for everyday classroom use
• Designed to enhance focus and engagement

The result?
A transformed learning environment that is already making an impact.

We’re incredibly grateful for the positive feedback from both educators and learners — and proud to see the desks being used exactly as intended.

Designed for how young minds grow, move, and discover 🌈

Foundation Phase learners experience the world through movement, colour, and connection—so their learning environment should do the same.

This space was reimagined to support the developmental needs of early childhood, where curiosity is constant and learning happens through both play and focus.

Colour was used intentionally to energise the space, stimulate engagement, and create a sense of joy and belonging from the moment learners walk in.

Flexible group settings encourage collaboration, communication, and social development—allowing learners to work together, share ideas, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

At the same time, we created a careful balance:

Soft seating areas offer comfort, calm, and informal learning moments—perfect for reading, reflection, and creative exploration.
Structured desk settings provide the focus and routine needed for more concentrated tasks—supporting attention, posture, and independence.

Open space allows for movement, transitions, and freedom—because at this stage, learning isn’t static, and neither are they.

The result is a classroom that responds to the rhythm of early learning—supporting both structure and spontaneity, focus and play.

At Rhenish Girls High School, we were appointed to upgrade the desks and chairs across four Life Sciences labs — replacing outdated furniture with a solution designed for durability, flexibility, and everyday performance.

The requirement was clear: introduce furniture that can withstand the demands of a high-use science environment while allowing the space to adapt to different teaching approaches throughout the day.

Through thoughtful layout planning and the introduction of modular, reconfigurable tables paired with robust seating, the labs can now transition seamlessly between practical experiments, collaborative work, focused individual tasks, and teacher-led instruction. The furniture supports movement and adaptability, ensuring the environment can shift as quickly as the lesson requires.

The result is a practical, high-performing furniture solution that enhances functionality and supports the realities of modern science education.

Thoughtfully created to support modern teaching, collaboration, and discovery, the space features our custom-designed Tano table, easily configurable to suit multiple teaching styles — from group collaboration to focused individual work — alongside our signature student chair, engineered for exceptional durability and built to stand the test of time.

Because when spaces work better, students do too — making this more than a classroom transformation, but a meaningful investment in the future of education and the students it shapes.
