Half a poppy is better than none!

These are purple poppies grown from seeds I received in a seed swap a while ago. Not having planted them that same year and scattering the seeds in autumn this year, I'm really pleased to have a few of them in the garden.

Poppies usually germinate after very cold weather and our winter was anything but. The plants that are growing are really little survivers.

So glad I caught this one in flower. 💜🩷 I really hope that any seeds that scatter will bring more of these pretty flowers next year 😊

Just look at Harry 🤩

These are the most blossoms that my Harry Pickerton plum tree has ever had. I decided not to prune my fruit trees this year because of the weird winter we've had where days were warm and dry and nights nowhere near as cold as they should have been.

Last year the handful of blossoms were all munched by snails and the tree produced no fruit. I've wrapped the stem with copper gauze to deter snails from accessing the flowers.

I'm really crossing fingers and toes for a good harvest 🌸🤗

Today is not just any ordinary Tuesday. It's and I've got something to show for it 🎉

Atomic Fusion and Midnight Sun have sprouted 🍅🍅🍅 These seeds are from Jill _organic veggie garden so thanks Jill! I'm so glad I bought them. Going to be checking in on these little guys as often as possible 😂

My nectarine tree started flowering earlier this month and things are looking promising for more than the five fruit it gave last season 😄
