Engaged at a late stage to resolve critical procurement delays, Siteform Framing delivered 20.8 tons of light steel frame (LSF) roofing for the new Klipfontein Clinic in Johannesburg, serving a rural community with permanent, high-quality healthcare infrastructure.

To ensure the facility stands as a lasting community beacon rather than a temporary structure, the design combines face brick with an LSF roof system featuring 12-metre girders and clear spans up to 9 metres under concealed-fix sheeting.

Nominated for the Steel Awards 2026 by Siteform , with main construction by GVK Construction.

To overcome limited surface area for solar power installation, Siteform had to create an overarching 2,158 m² light steel frame (LSF) roof structure for the Roots Butchery in Manguang, directly over an existing premises.

Designed and supplied by Siteform Framing using 18.45 tons of Zincalume AZ150 C Channel and Top Hat sections, the structure unifies parking areas, offices, storage, and a car ramp under a single roof surface. The system features clear spans up to 17.7 metres and column heights reaching over 9.5 metres, allowing installation above an active operational facility without structural interruption.

Nominated for the Steel Awards 2026 by Siteform, with engineering by Thusabatho Consulting Engineers and construction by MVW Projects.
