A recently completed custom home office for one of our clients.

For this design we combined PG Bison Laredo SuperTexture with Super Black in a linear woodgrain finish. The warmth and texture of the Laredo works extremely well against the deep black cabinetry, giving the office a strong, modern look without making the space feel too dark.

The design includes plenty of full-height storage, drawer space, overhead cabinetry and open display shelving, while keeping the main workstation clean and practical. We also incorporated warm integrated LED lighting beneath the overhead units, which highlights the timber tones and adds a completely different atmosphere to the workspace.

Designed, manufactured and installed as a complete custom solution to make the most of the available space.

CUSTOM KITCHEN + BAR INSTALLATION | LEGEND WOODWORKS
A complete custom cabinetry project designed and manufactured by Legend Woodworks.

For the kitchen, we created a clean contemporary design using Arden, paired with white stone countertops and black detailing throughout. The cabinetry features a completely handleless push-to-open design, with Blum South Africa hardware used throughout.
Integrated lighting was incorporated into the display cabinetry above the oven, adding another layer to the design while highlighting the glassware and keeping the kitchen feeling warm rather than clinical.

The project continued into the entertainment area with a completely custom-built bar.
The bar features a large curved island, finished with a Rustenburg Leathered granite countertop, detailed vertical cladding and custom cabinetry. Behind the bar we manufactured narrow-frame aluminium and glass display cabinets, complemented by integrated warm LED lighting to showcase the glassware and drinks.
From the cabinetry and hardware to the aluminium-framed display units and integrated lighting, the entire project was designed around creating a consistent look between the kitchen and entertainment areas.

Custom cabinetry. Designed around the space. Built to last.

From blank canvas to a fully transformed guest bedroom.

For this project, we designed and fitted the entire room to create a warm, practical space that makes the most of every centimetre available.

The installation includes:

Full-height built-in cupboards with sliding doors to save valuable floor space
PG Bison Rio Verde combined with Nova Lam Amber woodgrain for a warm, modern finish
Over-bed cabinetry with integrated bedside tables
A custom-made upholstered headboard, fitted perfectly into the surrounding cabinetry
Integrated LED lighting, creating soft ambient lighting and doubling as convenient night lights for guests
A discreet hidden storage compartment incorporated into the cabinetry
A custom dressing table
New carpeting throughout the room

The combination of the deep Rio Verde, warm Amber woodgrain, soft upholstery and lighting completely changed what started as an empty room into a comfortable, functional and finished guest bedroom.

Custom cabinetry designed around the room — not the other way around.

Another kitchen wrapped up and really happy with how this one came together 👌

We went with **Endless Oak and Bella Vista**, finished off with **EeziQuartz Dazzle countertops** and custom timber panelling to bring a bit of warmth and character into the space.

The nice thing about doing everything custom is that we could make the kitchen work exactly the way the clients wanted it, right down to the smaller details.

Awesome clients to work with from start to finish, which always makes a job like this even better.

Modern colours, warm timber and a clean, timeless look that should still look good for many years to come.

FROM AI INSPIRATION TO REALITY ✨

Our client brought us an AI-generated image showing what they had in mind for their TV feature wall.

We used that inspiration to create a custom 3D design suited to their space—and then brought it to life.

The result combines a floating entertainment unit, illuminated display shelving, decorative slatting, feature panels and warm LED lighting.

The first image shows the inspiration, followed by our design renders and the completed installation.

Every great project starts with a single piece of timber.

This custom live-edge hardwood bar was more than just another installation—it was about taking a raw slab and transforming it into a feature that will be enjoyed for years to come.

From careful measuring and precision fitting to the final installation, every detail matters. We believe the difference is in the workmanship you don't always see.

There's something special about natural timber. No two pieces are ever the same, which means every project we build is completely unique.

Thank you to our client for trusting Legend Woodworks with bringing this space to life.

If you're looking for custom furniture, bars, kitchens, cabinetry or one-of-a-kind timber pieces, we'd love to help.

Crafted from nature. Built to last.

This custom outdoor entertainment area is a perfect example of combining natural timber with modern steelwork.

For this project, we personally sourced beautiful Sand Kiaat live-edge slabs, transported them back to Bloemfontein, and carefully handcrafted each piece to preserve the unique character and grain of the timber. Every live edge, knot, and natural feature tells its own story—making this installation completely one of a kind.

The solid timber is paired with custom-fabricated matte black powder-coated steel framing, creating a clean industrial look while providing exceptional strength and durability.

Our client's own w**e barrels were incorporated into the design, giving this bar a distinctive personality and making it the perfect space for entertaining family and friends.

From sourcing the timber to the final installation, every detail was completed with craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Thank you to our client for trusting us with another unique project.
