When you look at a material palette, you aren’t just looking at surfaces—you’re looking at how a space will feel.

For this bathroom, the goal was a perfect balance of warmth and architectural contrast.

We have cream porcelain floors that bring a soft, expansive feel to the room and TFL cabinetry, grounding the space with natural grain and clean lines.

The moody gray walls are paired with a deep herringbone mosaic floor to create an intimate, architectural anchor for the room.

When we design a home, our goal is to ensure that each room belongs to the same narrative while respecting the specific operational needs of each space.

In this project, we connected the kitchen and bathrooms through natural textures, carefully curating materials based on the performance requirements of each room.

For the kitchen and master bath, which are the natural spaces, we utilized natural walnut. The clear-stained grain provides the organic warmth and tactile quality that defines the character of the home's main living areas.

And for the hallway bath, we transitioned to a wood-look TFL. By selecting a tone that complements the walnut without competing with it, we achieved visual harmony while gaining the moisture and impact resistance necessary for a high-traffic environment.

Before a single cabinet is built, a home makeover begins as a conversation between us and our client.

We talk about how you use your kitchen, and we talk about what frustrates you most everyday about your current space.

For this modern kitchen, that dialogue led us to a really intentional mix of three materials. We paired a deep, matte black—Benjamin Moore’s Black Beauty (2128-10)—with a warm, textured TFL wood grain to keep the high contrast from feeling cold.

Then, we anchored the whole room with a softly veined white quartz on the perimeter and the central island to draw in the natural light.

Every home we enter in the GTA is unique. For this project, a cohesive aesthetic was key—linking a high-performance kitchen with a boutique-inspired closet.

Before it becomes the backdrop to quiet morning coffees and the evening rush, a kitchen lives as a palette of possibilities.

For this project, the vision was anchored in a striking, high-contrast balance: the crisp warmth of client’s chosen Benjamin Moore palette: Simply White OC-117 and Gravel Gray 2127-30.

To bring it all together, a beautifully veined quartz anchors the space, running from the countertops straight up into a seamless backsplash.

We really love how the contrast turned out in this latest bathroom renovation!

The black grid on the shower glass gives the whole room a solid, architectural anchor, but pairing it with a wood grain custom vanity keeps the space from feeling too clinical.

We love the dynamic that mixed finishes bring to a kitchen! It's the recipe for a wonderful balance. ✨

For this project, we paired a soft, clean painted upper (that’s Benjamin Moore’s classic OC-17 White Dove) with the warm texture of a high-quality TFL on the lowers.
