The Site Unseen, 60’s Built Auction House Update…
20 years of building homes and we’ve never put a bid on an online auction for a house. Excitement? Learning curve? Anxiety? All the things wrapped up in one.
What we’ve learned thanks to our 18+ year relationship with our amazing Realtor . Just because you win the bid on an online auction doesn’t mean you necessarily “win” the house. Thats step 1. Step 2 is a court date.
The auction house goes to court on Wednesday at 10am, and until that gavel drops, someone can still outbid us. A learning curve.
So here we are... somewhere between excited, nervous, and already imagining the possibilities.
If we get it:
• Do we renovate it?
• Sell it?
• Tear it down and build a 4-plex?
• Keep it as an investment?
One thing we do know - we love the vision, the challenge, and the opportunity to create something special.
Real estate definitely isn’t for the faint of heart. Stay tuned... Wednesday could change everything.
