We hope everyone is staying safe during the line of storms pushing through our area today.

It is important to be prepared for any emergency situations that may arise. Here is a quick list of things you should have in case of an emergency.

An emergency kit is great to have on hand especially if you are forced to leave your home. If you have pets, be sure to have extra water for them, and if you have children of the human variety, board games or cards and coloring books are great to have on hand to beat the boredom.

If you have a serious medical condition that requires you to have power, having a backup generator is a great investment. Be sure it is running properly and you have enough fuel for 72 hours before the bad weather hits.

We hope these tips will be helpful. Everyone stay safe.
