Favorite Artist Quote:
“I shut my eyes in order to see.” (Paul Gauguin, French)

This is so true for a prophetic artist. We see with the "inner", eye!

The scripture I put on my work...Psalm 63:7 "Because you are my help...I rejoice in the shadow of your wings." I have painted prophetically for 20 or more years now. I love to paint in churches and conferences under the anointing during worship. My prophetic art is called "Unveiled Perceptions". I felt the Lord gave me this name when I began my prophetic art journey. It represents the perceptions of what I see in the spirit and how I portray that in my art. I love the prophetic art and consider it my ministry, but I do paint other kinds of art as well. I especially love to paint children and pet portraits. I have done many Memorial Portraits for people who have lost loved ones...as well as those who have lost their pets. I accept commissions and can work from photographs via the internet. Although my main medium is oil I do also work in graphite and watercolor. Over the years I have sold prints and my original art in many conferences and artistic venues around our area. Now that I have "retired" (does an artist really retire? lol) I mainly work from home work with commissions and internet orders. I still paint in our church and plan on a few select venues in the future. If you have questions, comments or would like to discuss commissions, I would love to hear from you.
