With Walnut grain going through both of these boards, you can take care of more work while having an eye-catching piece of kitchenware. Maple borders the edges of this piece while the strip of red oak down the middle adds an accent to the continued grain.

Check out this new board just finished up! This one has two nice exotics in it that just shine!

The body is American Walnut, the thinner strips are Bocote and the lovely red band is Rosewood, the contrast and color on this board is amazing, not to mention the walnut on it's own is just gorgeous! Add in that live edge and you've got a piece people will ask about!
