Jono Bouzaid Woodworking Retired Carpenter due to injury who enjoys making little projects in his garage part time

Hi all

Gees, can’t believe it’s almost March. I was hoping to be in the workshop by now making some stuff for Easter but as always, family life has to come first. My wife is busy at work and I’m keeping an eye on our daughter who enjoys causing chaos wherever she goes.

Hopefully, I can get some time in the workshop and be able to show you something soon

Take care everyone

Jono

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday break and able to relax before 2023 starts

I forgot to post this before Christmas Day. I made a few of these crates for presents this year and filled them up with chocolate coins. They were very popular on the day

Take care gang

Hi all

This is one for all the families who don’t have a chimney for Santa and need to leave a door unlocked and/or a window slightly open.

I made this one for my niece and nephew as we are all spending Xmas at my parents place this year and they don’t have a chimney.

Hi all

I have to admit, I did have fun making these Christmas tree ornaments. Yes, it’s childish and immature but also brings a smile to peoples face and a little laugh.

My nephew will be arriving at the bach tonight and I know he’ll love these and be laughing at them

One more post before Christmas and I promise it won’t be as immature as this one 😁

Greetings all

Here is a funny Christmas tree ornament I made for my cousin and parents. Just a play on words that always brings a smile and a quick laugh to people when they read it.

Greetings all

Good news. I managed to get some time in the workshop over the past three weeks and managed to get a couple of little Christmas projects done with my limited time. I should have spent it tidying it up but that can be next years problem.

I will post them online over the next week or two so keep an eye out for them.

Cheers, Jono

Greetings all

I think we can all agree that this year has flown by. I don’t mind time flying by while I’m at work but not the weekends or days off.

Life has been busy. With my wife returning to work in April and all the crazy weather we’ve been having, I have yet to step into the workshop this year. My wife has been crazy busy at work since returning in April that I’ve been looking after our little girl to allow her to get on top of things during the weekend.

I do plan on getting out there soon as I have a few jobs that need to be done before Christmas.

I do appreciate the patience with the lack of updates on my page and hope to be back at it soon.

Take care

Happy New Year gang!!!

I know I have been absent for a long time since my last post. As mentioned before, my wife gave birth to our daughter on July 27th and she has been a bundle of joy. She is growing up fast as well as being a handful.

In 2022, I was hoping to get back out into workshop in January and start a few projects but this will be postponed until maybe April/May. My wife had a heart attack at the end on November 2021 but thankfully, she is still with us. She has a dissection on her artery which will heal in time as long as she relaxes and takes things easy for a while. So I took time off work to help look after her (with our parents help) as well as be Mr. Mum for our daughter.

Over time, she will make a full recovery so in the meantime, I have been planning things out for the workshop with a range of new products to sell and a few projects on the 'To Do' list which I'm looking forward to.

I really appreciate you all for continuing to follow my page and hope to be back in the workshop soon.

I wish you all the best for 2022 and lets hope its less chaotic than 2021

Take care

Hi all

I hope you are all safe and enjoying the weekend as much as you can with these restrictions.

I do apologise for not being more active on my page but as all parents would agree, 90% of my time has been allocated to our newborn and haven’t been in the workshop for a while.

With that being said, I wont be able to spend much time in my workshop until next year. In the meantime, I do have a few projects in the process and will post updated when I can. I will also be planning for next year and hope to be more active in the workshop.

Take care

With my local council area in lockdown preventing me from going away due to the latest COVID outbreak, I took my free time and decided to clean the workshop. It may not look like I have cleaned it but trust me, there is a difference.

Time to start planning my workshop schedule.
