Here is a detached garage/shop that I am working on. The owner is trying to rehab it and protect it for the future, which is a great idea. One issue that was obvious is the lack of an overhang. Even though this is the Okanagan and it is mostly dry doesn't mean we don't get rain or wet periods, in my opinion a nice overhang is a must for any permanent structure. The owner is having it reroofed so I have added a nice 2ft overhang to both sides. I paid extra attention to strength so a person could stand on this easily and it can handle a good snow load. I Also replaced the door with a sealed unit(the previous was a homemade door with little insulation value and no weatherstripping. Once the new roof is on we plan to rehab the siding, make sure drainage is ok and take care of anything else so this building will stand for years to come.

Here is a quick one day install of a new entry door in a mobile home. The old door was hollow core(meaning no insulation) and had a a now no longer needed cat door. Furthermore whoever worked on this last was not very clean with his work. The new door has now been installed, it is fully sealed and insulated. trimmed inside and out. There was an issue with the deadbolt and a few adjustments that needed addressing afterwards, I came out to resolve those issues asap at no charge as I always want to keep my customers happy.

A couple of recent small jobs. One was replacing a floor in a Bigfoot camper. The other was jacking up and aligning a roof overhang that fell from snowload last year, I also added knee braces for extra support. Message me if you need work done around the Oliver area(Penticton to Osoyoos).
