A little update on the snooker room I posted about back in June.

Since then the roof has been tiled with black slate, black facias & sofits fitted, Velux windows installed in the roof. Black UPVC back door and black aluminium framed triple glazed bifold doors fitted the front face.

Then the cladding commenced....

The customer wanted Siberian Larch cladding in assorted widths. This required a little bit of brain work to calculate & design a random pattern of widths for the desired result. And what a result it is! To keep the beautiful warm colour of the wood from turning silver in the sun it is being coated in a clear UV protection Oil.

Flooring fitted for one of my lovely customers.
Beautiful parquet flooring discovered under carpet was too damaged in places to repair, so the customer chose Quickstep Alpha Vinyl tiles in Soft Blush. The colour changes in different light, which is always something to think about when picking your flooring.

Apologies for the lack of update, It's been a busy 6 months.

I will post a few updates of this particular build.

This 30m x 8m x 4m garden snooker room, with 3 Velux windows trimmed out, using 32 rafters each side and constructed for maximised loft space.

From raw sourced green Oak delivered to the workshop, hand curved, sanded, and finished with a coating of oil to give this beautiful golden colour.

This grand porch, with its king truss & curved braces, solid oak tongue & groove cladding to the roof, was assembled on site for my good friends at Forest Oak Builders.

Using highly durable African Iroko to assemble integrated gates that follows into the cladding and along the exsisting curve design of this stunning property.

A time consuming but very satisfying job to complete all done to the customers design requirements.

Everything customised from the paint colour to where the knocker is placed.

This customer chose an Accoya door with exterior door and frame colour matched with Little Greene Normandy Grey 79 with satin chrome furniture and white internal door & frame colour with twin sidelights.

The finishing touches to this house renovation creates the ultimate transformation. 🏡

🪵Using highly attractive Siberian larch cladding in a thin 93mm profile, it creates a warming golden brown colour with striking grain patterns.

As we say goodbye to Summer and hello to September I look back on a favourite build.

This summerhouse in a picturesque location is cladded with stunning western red cedar which matches the customers house.

Double glazed doors and long length windows in anthracite grey, to ensure the beautiful view is not wasted.

The inside is plastered and painted with ceiling spotlights and powerpoints.

It is finished off with a natural light oak laminate flooring.
