Here’s another completed tan vinyl fence in Bellamy Crossings in Dade City.
The tan privacy and picket fence styles were required by the Bellamy Crossings HOA, and they look great together. The privacy fencing provides separation where it is needed, while the picket fencing keeps the other areas more open.
There are also some important differences in how Acme Fence builds this style. Most companies use standard 6-foot-wide picket panels. We install 4-foot-tall by 8-foot-wide picket panels with a full 5½-inch bottom rail.
The wider picket panels allow us to custom-trim the sections and make them symmetrical and evenly sized. This creates a much cleaner finished appearance than installing full panels and leaving one noticeably short panel at the end.
For privacy fencing, we only use 6-foot by 6-foot panels—never 8-foot-wide privacy panels. There is no real benefit to the homeowner from an 8-foot-wide privacy panel, and the 6-foot-wide sections provide better support.
These details may not always stand out when comparing fence estimates, but they can make a noticeable difference in how the completed fence looks and performs.
