A few weeks back, our Tahoe yard hosted Tahoe Living With Fire for a free educational event highlighting defensible space and home hardening steps to become fire adapted and Firewise. There, local Tahoe residents learned about ways to prevent embers from igniting your home when the next wildfire comes around.

Special thanks to the local defensible space inspectors from the fire departments the Fire Adapted Communities rep. for putting the event on and helping to keep Tahoe safe!

Our Meyers crew welcomed NorCal's new Director of Sales Vince into the yard a couple weeks back and the crew was able to take a pizza break, so we're calling it a win-win!

We'll see all our customers at the Meyers Open House event this time next week for some BBQ and fun! 🎉

This is a fun one we're proud to share! CSU Chico has a club called BRIC -- Building Renovation In Construction -- consisting of around 60 members who are enrolled in the Construction Management, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programs.

Our Chico yard donated lumber to their program and with that material, they were able to rebuild some community benches while also learning some basic carpentry skills including a crash-course in framing. The future of building is bright with this group of students in the wings!
