I thought that the lambing was over. I thought too soon.

Chuck spotted a little white dot from upstairs and sure enough it’s a lamb baby and the mother seems to have no recollection of ever dropping it onto this earth.

I held the ewe a few times so the baby can take a few drinks but she still wants nothing to do with the lamb so they are back in the barn in the jug so they can (hopefully) sort this out.

Fingers crossed 🤞

Sometimes, you just need to listen to your friend and go mountain biking, go to the new used bookstore and end the day giving bottles to lambs.

Thanks for dragging me out from the shoulds and needs and help me seize the moment. It was a perfect day💚

It’s been sunny and dry for a few days so today was the perfect day to free the sheeple into the buffet field of green grass.

I fed a good amount of hay in the morning before letting them into the field to prevent bloating.

Then shook grain bucket so they remember that sounds is connected to something good.

The sheeple are so happy and busy eating clover flowers all I can hear this afternoon was the quiet munching sound.

Maybe a week of this grazing practice and they will be ready to go on mowing project!

Everyone out there waiting to get scheduled for your sheeple therapies, we haven’t forgotten you! We will be reaching out very soon to get you in the book.

Let the gardening begin!

Went to get more baby plants on my super cub. Perfect timing because i needed to gas up the bike too for whopping 3 bucks! Thank you ,super cub ,for being super.

Planted greens, eggplants, tomatoes, cukes, zukes, sweet and hot peppers, and three sisters ( corn beans and pumpkins)

Chuck comes home with a walleye haul. Pigs happily gobbled up all the entrails. Nothing goes to waste around here 🐽🐽🐽

I’m home.

My Little Ninja didn’t make it but this guy was born apparently without anyone noticing!

All the lambs are so much bigger and eating hay now.
No more zoomies during their mothers meal time🥲

Everything is so green and oh one of the hens started sitting on mixed batch of chicken and duck eggs ( basically because Chuck didn’t collet eggs while I was gone 🐓🐣)

Good to be home💚

I have less than 24hrs in Sevilla. 2 hours in city center. Let’s go.

I lost track of time and in case you are wondering we welcomed baby lambs no. 16 & 17 this morning.

The mom to 16 wasn’t too enthusiastic about feeding her boy so I had to catch her and push the mother and son into a nursery. Every single time when this happens my mind goes so fast thinking about different scenarios: I got leave for work trip soon and I can’t have a bottle baby… who can feed these lambs if the moms can’t…. I need to make formulas before I leave etc etc and then I come back to check on them a few hours later and almost always I witness the babies are getting fed just fine.

My Little Ninja is still little tho so I’m supplementing with s bottle for a few days.

World Map had a baby girl a few days ago. WM is a escape artist and sure enough she jumped out of the nursery and left her baby behind. But then again they are doing just fine outside the nursery.

These sheep mamas are daily reminder that there’s no one way of doing things and when you think there’s a problem just wait and let it happen. It usually does.
