It was a proper autumn day. Misty, cloudy, and colors are not at the peak but it’s getting there!
My kitchen garden is still going strong. Still lots of leafy greens and green beans, herbs like garlic chives parsley basil thyme sage are still going and i put a few new fruit trees (American plum and Japanese pear 3-in-1 espalier) in the ground before the first frost hits. The second flush of shiitake mushrooms are trying to come out too!
Perfect weather for bike rides. 40mins there and back to the Botanical Garden.
Wrapping up the weekend with hot tea and a documentary series on Kanopy.
