From severely eroded to almost finished — and what a transformation.

Bailand Construction is nearing completion on this horrendously eroded drainage bank surrounding a City of Youngsville lift station, and we couldn’t be happier with how this one turned out. Finishing up compaction of backfill dirt todayyyyy in this blistering HEAT!

What started as a heavily deteriorated bank with active erosion threatening the surrounding property has been transformed into a clean, stable, properly protected drainage corridor built to stand up to the elements.

This is exactly why we do what we do.

The rain sure makes it a hassle trying to decide whether we can work or not. This week, we’ve been pushing through those afternoon South Louisiana pop-up showers and getting it done.

Today we’re hauling in dirt to rebuild this eroded bank before installing concrete revetment to help protect it for years to come. That’s what we do—solve erosion problems the right way.
