Yellow Dog Pasture is looking for someone to help, mostly with mowing and w**d eating. The bulk of our customers are between Chapel Hill and Franklinton. If you have another job - great. We can work around your schedule, but will need full days when needed. Our schedule and rotation is set far in advance for mowing unless rain derails us.

You need to be comfortable with a zero turn mower and w**d eating. Would love it if you could also drive a tractor. You would need to be able to lift 50 pound bags of fertilizer as well. A good attitude and ability to work out in the weather is required.

My husband is currently doing it all alone and as we continue to grow, he needs help. This is a pay per job opportunity for rest of this year (likely wrapping up in October) and resume in the spring. We are hoping to have more regular work next year. We will be clear about pay before you accept the job and you will be paid that day.

I will be reaching out to you next weekend to start scheduling final fertilizer applications. Please let me know if you need anything else. Kyle will be making recommendations for the fall (spraying, overseeing, etc) as well.

If you know you’re interested in something, let me know so I can order supplies. I want to keep costs down as much as possible.

We just wanted to take a second to reintroduce ourselves. Kyle and I started Yellow Dog when we saw a gap in the local horse industry. People wanted beautiful farms and great grass but didn’t have it for multiple reasons. Lack of proper equipment, lack of knowledge, lack of time. Kyle was eager to start working for himself and we knew he’d be great with a strong background in turf grass management. He’s a perfectionist and will work hard to help you achieve your goals. Amanda works behind the scenes in the back office stuff. I love talking to you and helping build plans for your beautiful farms.

We met during undergrad at NCSU and have been married 15 years. We are based in Youngsville on our own small farm where we live with our 6 month old GSD Torston.
