🌬️ Cold snaps in early spring can be rough on your trees — here’s what to watch for:

We’re getting into that time of year where temperatures bounce all over the place. One warm stretch, then suddenly freezing again. That kind of swing can stress trees more than people realize.

Here are a few things homeowners should keep an eye on:

🌳 Cracked or splitting limbs
When sap starts flowing and then freezes again, it can cause limbs (especially maples and fruit trees) to split unexpectedly.

🌳 Dead or weakened branches
Winter damage isn’t always obvious right away. As trees start waking up, weak limbs can fail — especially with wind.

🌳 Evergreens turning brown
Cold wind + sun = moisture loss. If you’re seeing browning, that’s usually winter burn showing up now.

🌳 Leaning or shifting trees
Freeze/thaw cycles can loosen soil. If something looks “off,” it’s worth paying attention to.

👉 A quick walk around your yard now can prevent a bigger problem later this spring.

No rush, no pressure — just something to be aware of as the weather changes.

Stay safe out there 👍

⚠️ High Wind Advisory in Our Area Today
Strong winds are expected today and can cause tree limbs to break or entire trees to fall, especially if they are dead, damaged, or already leaning.
If you notice:
• Hanging or cracked limbs
• Trees leaning more than usual
• Branches on roofs, driveways, or power lines
Stay clear of the area and have it looked at by a professional.
