I want to give Logan a big shout-out. He’s been working with me since spring of 2023, and I’m going to miss having him around more than I can say.
The first time I met Logan was at his parents’ house. My mowing crew couldn’t find the place, so I had to go figure out what the problem was. That’s when I met his stepdad, who looked at me and said, “This kid needs a job.” And just like that, Logan’s next chapter started. 😂
When Logan first started, he had a few… creative ways of doing things. Let’s just say there were times I had to stop and ask, “What’s the plan here, bud?” Look in the comments for a video that gives you an idea. 😂 But he listened, learned, worked hard, and kept getting better. Over the years, he developed his skills and learned to run all our equipment like a seasoned pro. It’s been great watching him grow.
About a month ago, Logan told me he’s moving to be closer to his friends and girlfriend. I understand—it’s time for him to spread his wings. I’m happy for him, even if I’m selfishly going to miss seeing him every day, sharing stories, and giving him a hard time.
Logan’s a good kid, a hard worker, reliable, and a real asset to the company in so many ways. Somewhere along the way, he became like a son to me. I’m proud of how far he’s come and excited to see what comes next for him.
Thanks for everything, bud. You’ll be missed greatly, and you’ll always have a place here.
