He's balancing college, hands-on career experience and being involved in the community. This $1,500 scholarship through the Youngstown State University Foundation allows him to continue moving toward his dreams.

Representatives from IBEW Locals 64 and 573 and electrical contractors brought extra energy to the fairways at Trumbull Country Club for The Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania's annual golf outing. ⛳

It was a chance to strengthen connections with contractors, suppliers and industry partners who help build the Mahoning Valley's workforce and keep construction moving forward.

⚡ For nearly three decades, Eric Davis had a front-row seat to the future of the electrical trade as training director at Warren JATC 573 IBEW. He watched apprentices arrive with potential - then leave as skilled, trusted electricians ready to work across the Mahoning Valley.

Now officially retired, Davis leaves behind more than a strong training program. His influence will live on through apprentices he taught, mentored and believed in, including Luke Gale, who's taking the reins with a deep understanding of that responsibility.
