Last week, MKT welcomed the York Country Day School Robotics Team to our York facility as part of the Manufacturing Day Tours program organized by York County Alliance for Learning (YCAL).

Students got a firsthand look at our manufacturing operations and how technology, skilled trades, and teamwork come together to produce commercial HVAC ductwork.

Nothing beats getting positive feedback directly from the field.

Tony Greenway, Site Superintendent with Bahnson Mechanical Systems, recently shared this project video with the MKT team and said the ductwork looks great and installation is going smoothly. He also noted that people walking the building have been commenting on how good the work looks.

Much of it may eventually be concealed, but the quality of the work behind the walls still matters.

When ceiling space is limited, oval duct can offer the right balance of performance and fit.

Oval duct provides many of the airflow advantages of round duct while requiring less vertical clearance, making it a strong option for projects where space is tight. It also works well in exposed applications where the finished appearance of the ductwork matters.

MKT fabricates spiral oval duct in galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to meet a range of commercial HVAC project requirements.

After 17 years with MKT, Rex Daniels officially retired last week.

Rex spent his years at MKT running the spiral shop, bringing experience, dedication, and plenty of personality to the team.

Last week, the team gathered for lunch to celebrate Rex and wish him well as he starts his next chapter.
