Today we invested into Aerial rescue training for our team ! We know that we are in a very dangerous industry. If a critical injury occurs with our tree climbers and they need assistance to the ground for life saving care we must act quickly and perform rescue operations without creating more catastrophe. Today we learned and practiced what it takes to be ready for the worst. Each one of our teammates are better because of the training that they take seriously and our company is better because they invest into themselves and each other. Training and education has always been an important value here at Specialty Tree Service and many companies do not invest into these things like we do. This is just one more thing that makes us different!

❤️ FOR THE LOVE OF SUE — WHAT AN AMAZING DAY! ❤️

What an incredible day of sunshine, cars, music, food, friendship, and most importantly — a community coming together for Sue!

Our For the Love of Sue Cars & Coffee Benefit was blessed with beautiful weather and an amazing turnout of 69 registered vehicles! 🚗🏎️🛻☀️

And the best part of all…

❤️ We were able to present Sue with $2,469! ❤️

We truly cannot thank everyone enough who helped make this day possible. Every vehicle registration, donation, raffle ticket, bracelet purchase, vendor, volunteer, and person who stopped by contributed to the success of this special event.

🚗 🚘 A BIG THANK YOU to Amon Ledwich and the “Kreepers Krew” for designing, producing and donating the top 10 Peoples Choice Awards…. They turned out so cool!!!! 😎

SO WHAT EXACTLY IS THE COST OF CHOOSING THE LOWER BIDDER IN TREE WORK?

"WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT!, JUST LOOK AT IT"!

Safety is compromised. No helmets, set up on a busy roadway with no traffic control risking the lives of the workers and passing motorists.

They parked heavy equipment on neighboring properties causing lawn damage for homeowners who didn't choose them to be there. This causes anger and frustration that often causes ill feelings and damaged relationships between neighbors that may not ever be repaired.

Dropped tree tops into the neighbors yard causing large holes.

I saw a worker standing on the neighbors porch smoking a cigarette to get out of the rain without permission.

Not only did they leave debris scattered everywhere look at the complete yard destruction caused by their loader up and down the lawn with no ground protection mats!

I witnessed this all with my bare eyes within only 10 minutes of being there. I dont know about you but if I was paying for a service I would never expect or tolerate this level of incompetence and poor quality! WOULD YOU BE HAPPY WITH THIS?

Some people will tell us that they received a cheaper bid. It is important to know that this is the outcome that you could receive at your property if you make decisions strictly on price.

Some people have already learned this lesson the hard way and it is rewarding to hear our customers remind us that they recognize why we are worth it!

We take safety seriously! Thats why when we work along a roadway we contract traffic control services to protect our team and also the passing community.
Well what happens when the traffic control company cancels on you last minute?
We had 2 options.........

Cancel on our customer who has been patiently waiting for weeks?
Or pull from our internal resources and make it happen without our homeowners being inconvenienced ?

We did what we always do, figured it out and made things happen!

Great job by our team setting up a safe work environment and for keeping traffic moving! Proud of everyone involved who is willing to pivot and keep moving forward!

This tree was damaged by storms and a threat to the surrounding buildings and people. Didn't get before pictures but check out how tight this set up is ! Just removing the final 60 feet of trunk is a challenge only for the skilled professionals. What a great job being performed by our track lift crew! This is why our customers say we are worth it. Many of the residential Ash trees in our area have died and been removed due to the highly invasive emerald ash borer EAB.
We have been fortunate enough to educate some homeowners about methods we have for protection to keep these trees sustainable and to help control colonies of these pests . Today our technician Jason Warner is injecting Ash trees 🌳 to help protect our urban landscapes from decline. Thank you for what you do! It makes a difference!

Well that's a wrap ! It has been a HOT couple of days to say the least. Our crews have worked hard and have been producing regardless of the elements. We are all going home early today to cool off and start the weekend off right. To top it off our team will be paid in full through the rest of the day ! They take care of business and we do our best to take care of them. We truly appreciate each one of you for what you do no matter what.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

Think about what it is like to be outside in these temperatures........
Now think about what kind of person that you must be to show up to work in it day after day.....

Our team is a hardened group of men who show up consistently for a common purpose. We are proud of who we are because of what we create together. We cannot say thank you often enough but today as a small gesture of our appreciation we delivered warm pizza, cookies, soft drinks, and handwarmers to several jobsites. Thank you to our friends Nick Spagnolo and Giuseppe Spagnolo for accommodating us today ! We cannot fix the weather but we want you all to know how much we care about you and that you make a difference in our community. We are who we are because of each one of you.
