We kicked off the summer with York County Libraries at the Martin Library Block Party! This year’s SummerQuest reading program theme, “Unearth a Story,” celebrates discovery through reading and the idea that every community has stories waiting to be uncovered. ☀️📚

Special thanks to Site foreman Matt Aldinger for representing Kinsley Construction at the event and giving kids from across York County the chance to get up close with one of our backhoes. It’s always great when we can bring equipment out, connect with families and share what we do in a hands-on way. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

🌱 Our crews partnered with Accomack County Department of Public Works to restore about 270 feet shoreline that had been steadily eroding from the effects of natural forces. See how our team restored this shoreline and the natural methods we used to protect it for the future.

This week marks a major milestone for the Carlisle Road bridge project. Our crews set 18 concrete bulb-T beams measuring 125 feet long and six feet high on the 373-foot structure, each weighing nearly 140,000 pounds.

Up next: pouring diaphragms, installing deck pans and rebar, and pouring the bridge deck with approximately 460 cubic yards of concrete supplied by Kinsley Materials. Traffic is expected to begin crossing the bridge in September, with project completion scheduled for November.

Big thanks to Mowery Construction for bringing everyone together for a safety standdown at the Prologis warehouse project in Harrisburg, PA. Our team is providing site development services on this project, and we’re proud to work alongside crews who prioritize safety on this site and every job site.
