It’s almost been a whole week and I still can’t put into words how magnificent Fran’s plants are. Basically if you could take the Longwood Gardens experience but make it someone’s home that’s about right comparison wise.

Fran’s 2.0 is scheduled for 6/30 RAIN DATE 7/1 🌿

Another opportunity to see the magic Fran has created both inside and outside her home for the many who missed out on her first tour 🫶🏻 Join us for a vegetarian/vegan garden potluck, lots of plant touring and a fire! Please respond on the Facebook event if you plan to attend and post in the event what you plan to bring along with the recipe if there is one! If you consider yourself even slightly planty then the takeaways from this experience are truly endless!

Another rainy day repot! This begonia has a LOT of history to her.

My friend Meg gave me the one in white when it was a tiny cutting in water. I waited for it to grow roots then potted it and sent it to my grandma in DE. It lived in her sun porch where plants tend to thrive. Once it reached its current height my grandma sent it back to me to care for. Lydia Jane’s is from a cutting whose mother plant dates back to the late 1800s given to me by a family friend which is INSANE. Margery Ann’s are from another friend of mine whose grandmother passed away.

Although there are currently some bare spots from transit, I truly lost count of all the new growth points popping off along the main stems (my phone didn’t do the greatest job capturing those for you) I think this repot, fertilizer + the newfound company of them all being together will have her filling out and giving me new leaves in no time 💖
