Another generator inlet and interlock done! A generator inlet and interlock is a great cost effective way to power your home with a portable generator during an outage. SHENANIGANS! You guys!...please don’t just go with the cheapest “electrician” you can find. Understand that cheap electricians aren’t good and good electricians aren’t cheap. Maybe you don’t see anything wrong here but as an electrician, Everything is wrong here! These cables need to be buried 24” deep, currently they are only about 4”. And the yellow cables cannot be installed on the face of the studs and should be protected if run horizontally through the studs. Unfortunately the home owner has to pay for that electrician to do what he did so far, then pay for me to rip it out and then for me to install it correctly. Not only that, what’s worse is someone could get seriously hurt from these types of shenanigans!

Get to run a little EMT today. Not something I get to do much. Feels good getting out that 3/4” bender.

Is the Dewalt ToughSystem 2.0...well...tough? Just got this in the mail from Acme tools. I was about ready to go to the DeWalt platform from Milwaukee and then this happens. Didn’t even put a tool in it yet. If this happens just from shipping, will it hold up on the job site?
