🌿This month’s featured tree species is The Firewheel Tree (Stenocarpus sinuatus).

The Firewheel Tree is a striking evergreen tree native to the rainforests of northeastern Australia and known for its distinctive, wheel-shaped clusters of bright red flowers.

With its glossy foliage, upright growth habit, and unusual floral displays, the Firewheel Tree is a popular ornamental species in tropical and subtropical landscapes.

Exciting things are happening in Avondale, AZ!

The ArborPro team has been out in the community conducting a comprehensive inventory of the City’s public trees. Data collection is expected to continue through September 4th.

Our goal is to help build a detailed picture of Avondale’s urban forest by collecting valuable data to help the City better understand, manage, and plan for its trees for years to come.
