Please do not put free items out on the easement, especially at the end of the roads. It is not maintenance responsibility nor the communities to pay for having to take that to the dump. There are free sites on Facebook and you can also call the Garbage service for a bulk pick up. There’s a couch on the corner of Pepperidge and Port Orford and there’s a headboard in front of a person’s vacant property on Pepperidge.

Monday is the last day the pool will be open for the season . Go take a last splash in the pool . Check out the lost and found for clothes and towels . Anything left after summer will get donated . Thank you Christina Ochs and James Dawes for another great year . And thank you Paulette Howard and water dept Robert Moore for maintaining the pool this summer and keeping it open for the community to enjoy .

Fall is almost here and have you checked out the river park . It’s my favorite place to be . There are picnic tables to have lunch and benches to rest on . We do remove the tables in the winter because the water level of the river rises . Walk the trail to the creek bridge . Check out the color of the leaves when the seasons change . Be mindful of wild life that cross the river from Ft Lewis side . There is piles of bark and some cut wood for the community to use . Thank you to our River park attendants Trey and June for another great season . Though the River Park attendants last day is Monday the park is still monitored for your orange River Park passes. If you do not have a pass hanging from your rearview mirror, you will be towed owners expense.  Also be mindful that the fish and wildlife do check the park for people fishing. Park will be locked at 730pm each night .
