Progress update from Oakland Township! 🛠️

The crew is making excellent headway on this new detached garage, and things are really starting to shape up. While we usually roll with our classic metal siding, this custom build is getting something a little different. Check out those updated progress shots below!

For this project, we are switching it up and installing a special-ordered, two-toned vinyl siding. It’s clean, durable, and is going to give this garage an incredibly sharp, modern look that perfectly complements the house.

The dust has barely settled on our last pole barn build, and the Ironwood crew is already hard at work breaking ground on our next project—this time in beautiful Oakland Township!

As you can see in the photos below, we are wasting no time. The crew is out there setting the massive posts and framing up the heavy-duty headers to create a rock-solid foundation for this brand-new detached pole barn.

From the very first post we level to the final trim piece we install, we pour the same uncompromising attention to detail into every single square foot.

Take a look at this absolute beast of a steel structure we finished putting up! 🛠️💥

This massive framing is going to be transformed into a brand-new indoor hockey arena very soon.
To give you an idea of just how huge this project is: we literally couldn't get a single photo of the entire building from the ground! 🤯 Swallowing up the camera frame like this means Ironwood Contracting might just have to add a drone to the crew in the very near future! 📸🛸

We are out here clearing the way for a brand new pole barn! 🚜Our crew just finished cutting down and removing trees to get the ground perfectly ready for building.

With our owner/operator previously running a tree removal company, Ironwood Contracting can accurately and efficiently remove growth on a new job site.

🏗️ The update you’ve all been waiting for is finally here!

Remember that massive 100' x 150' steel structure in Traverse City, MI we broke ground on last winter? Mother Nature decided to throw a 6-foot blanket of snow over it, forcing us into an unexpected winter hibernation. ❄️🚜

But the wait is over! The snow has officially cleared, the ground is dry, and the Ironwood Contracting crew is back on-site and hitting the ground running. We are thrilled to be putting the finishing touches on this absolute beast of a building.

A huge thank you to our incredible clients for their patience during the winter freeze. Stay tuned for more progress updates as we push this project across the finish line! 💪🔨
