Save the Trolley!

The Yakima Trolly is a unique historic treasure. Please come out tonight to support it! If we don't show support there is a very real chance it will disappear and we would lose yet another unique part of our city.

Come to the City's Open House at Garfield Elementary School (612 N. 6th Ave) on Thursday, 9/19, 5:30-7:30 pm, to support bike/ped infrastructure being included in the City's N. 6th Ave. rebuild project.

The City has allocated nearly $7 million in car tab fees to rebuild N. 6th Ave., including keeping the trolley tracks. The William O. Douglas Trail should also be included as part of this project, especially a separated trail connecting the Powerhouse Canal Pathway (at Willow Street) with the existing Wm. O. Douglas Trail (at Hathaway Street).
