Morgan Forestry serves as agent to private landowners to market standing timber. Services in preparing a timber sale typically include the following:

-Conducting a timber cruise to determine the volume and value
of the timber by species.

In tracts of timber containing high value trees such as white oak and walnut, it can be advantageous to contract with a logger to harvest the timber and then Morgan Forestry markets the logs to a number of buyers such as sawmills, veneer mills, and overseas export markets. Morgan Forestry assists private landowners in the management of their forest lands to maximize health and future timber income. Forest management plans address such topics as timber stand improvement, thinning, forest and tree health, and planning for a future timber sale. Additional services include timber value estimations, timber tax assistance, and reforestation.
