LHR Landscape just finished a beautiful, new, landscape installation! The space to plant was challenging because the ground was bound in roots from the older trees on the property. Not only that, the amount of sun the area got was very minimal.

We started off by bringing in several yards of topsoil to elevate the new beds and create a space for the plants to thrive. Each plant was selected for its viability in mostly shaded conditions.

The one side of the home had issues with water runoff. We created a functional, yet aesthetically pleasing solution to the water problem by creating a dry creek bed with various sizes of decorative river rock!

Our customer loved the result and we do too!

A new customer had metal bed edging that kept popping up and it didn’t look natural in the landscape. We cut a new, deep edge, added some large River Rock, and problem solved!

LHR Landscape just wrapped up a beautiful project! Two new patios and a beautiful landscape!

One of our regular customers approached us about unique space that needed an upgrade. We discussed what they would like to invest in the area, and what they were trying to accomplish.

Happy Mother’s Day from LHR Landscape!

Pro tip of the day! If you are allergic to poison ivy, but you need to pull it? First, wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt. Make sure you are wearing non-porous, or rubber gloves.

While doing all of that, a trick we use is to lather your hands and wrists, or any exposed skin that may come in contact, with Dawn Dish soap. Do not rinse the soap, allow it to soak into your skin.

Poison Ivy releases oils that many times create an allergic reaction on your skin. Dawn dish soap creates a barrier and does not allow the oil to take hold.

When done, immediately, and carefully remove all clothing and wash exposed skin with the same dish soap!

This can drastically reduce the amount of poison ivy you get, or completely eliminate it!

One of our repeat customers reached out to us for an area where they spend a lot of time during the warm months.
