A-n-A Home Improvement LLC finally got a day to go over and post our Magnum Opus, 1200 sq ft. 2-story Addition and full home remodel. Some additional masonry work outside of our scope is ongoing, but the homeowners have been starting to unpack and enjoy their new luxury renovated home again.

Here are the walk-through videos of the inside, 2nd floor open-concept living and kid bedrooms, The elegant kitchen space, A completely custom in-house designed and installed walk-in tile shower/bath, and the scale of the massive 6 x 8 foot Grand Entry Door.

Will do our best to get the final pictures out for everyone to see today, and looking forward to giving shout-outs to everyone involved when we do.

Progress photos from the last couple of weeks at the addition. Master bath tile is nearly wrapped up, painting is in progress, and LVP stair treads are installed.

You guys are the first to see the new grand entry door, as nobody on sight is permitted to even glance at it until the project is finished!

Kitchen gets installed this week and odds and ends and Painting continue.

A-n-A Home Improvement LLC weekly update at the addition!

We have completed installing the flooring, except for the master bathroom and walk-in closet. We are in the process of installing trim and the painting will be starting on Monday.

For the exterior, all work has heen on hold until this heat dies off 🥵 you may notice that the front of the house looks a bit different, the homeowners decided to have the bricks removed and new bricks installed that will perfectly match with the addition.

A-n-A Home Improvement LLC End of week update from our project!

Drywall finishing completed, walls primed and ready for paint, starting July 6th.

LVP flooring started upstairs, downstairs started today

Waiting on the Grand Entry Door install until the front façade brick is fully updated. Wait til you see this thing, talk about making a first impression!

New HVAC items and existing vent locations are completed until the register grills are installed at the end.

Both secondary bathroom Nextile shower kits with integrated niches are ready for fixture install

Master bathroom shower pan and walls will be ready for tile the next rain day, tile layout completed and shower stone pieces arriving on Monday

Closet systems are in production by H2 and shower glass will be measured the week after Independence Day.

Siding on the addition to wrap up early next week, very happy with how it is coming out, the customer's picked a great look!

Flashing/siding getting started

Drywall installed and finishing about to be complete

Trim and interior doors delivered and ready to install after flooring, flooring delivery and install to start on Tuesday or Wednesday after a big clean and securing any subfloor in existing house to remove floor squeaks

Secondary shower walls installed

HVAC final hookup on Monday

Front sidewalk removed and front door opening widened for new custom super-door

Walk-in shower Kerdi-board installed, waterproofing will be on the next rain day

A-n-A Home Improvement LLC is 7 weeks in to our addition project. We have been blessed with several weeks of great weather, so naturally as soon as the roof gets started we would have diabolical heat followed by 7 days of rain!

Toughed-out the heat Monday and Tuesday to get the black standing seam panels installed on the addition, we will do a final crimp around the sides and end once all of the panels are installed, when the snowbirds go on.

Standing seam metal roofing is considered one of the longest lasting types of roof, and these panels carry a 40 year manufacturer warranty. They also happen to be quite stylish, in our opinion.

Plumbing and Electrical rough-ins are now completed, and the inspections for framing and mechanical rough-ins were completed just in time for the holiday.

Inspection for insulation and fire-proofing is scheduled for this coming Tuesday, then as soon as the exisiting roof seam panels are installed we have free reign to hang drywall throughout the house!!

A-n-A Home Improvement LLC is starting to get get bricked up at the addition!

Murray Masonry is killing it on the bricklaying, and should finish up after Memorial Day with the first story addition bricks. They will be toothed into the existing first story bricks for a seamless perimeter. Once the brick is finished, we can start on the siding.

We are on the last of the framing (soffits etc)

All windows (minus one garage and one add-on) have been installed, including the amazing Trapezoid windows in the addition vaulted ceiling. Stressful to install, wondrous to behold.

Miselberger is wrapping up install of ductwork for the new addition and install of a new heat pump and AC for both the addition space and existing space, no mini-splits for this addition.

Roofing materials are in, and the addition roof is first on the priorities for install of this standing seam roof.

Framing and Rough-in inspections set for this Friday, looking forward to hanging some drywall this coming week

A-n-A Home Improvement LLC Progress pics from week 5 at the addition. Windows and ground floor patio door installed in the addition, all interior walls (minus closets) are up and the bricks will be getting started soon!

Swapping existing house windows during plumbing and electric rough-ins this week, finishing the recessed subfloor for the curbless walk in shower area.
