A look at the transformation happening at Catalyst @ Tucker.

This 3.92-acre in-house design-build project will become 41 new self-storage units, with Carmichael leading as the General Contractor while also self-performing the sitework.

Progress like this takes planning, coordination, and a crew committed to doing the work right.

Progress in Henry County, built from the ground up.

This 204-lot subdivision spans roughly 108 acres, with Carmichael Development leading the sitework that prepares the entire property for what comes next.

From mass grading and erosion control to storm drainage, water, and sewer utility installation, our team has been moving through a major scope of work across the site.

With approximately 400,000 CY of earthwork and 56,000 LF of pipe involved, there is a lot happening above ground, below ground, and everywhere in between.

Mass grading is nearing completion, underground utilities are actively progressing, and our crews continue to adjust to changing field conditions while keeping safety, productivity, and quality at the front of the job.

This is the work future roads, homes, and community connections are built on.

A lot of the progress on this site is happening where you won’t always see it.

Underground utilities are moving forward in Henry County while mass grading continues across the property. Pipe, storm, sewer, water, dirt work, coordination, and a whole lot of moving pieces all coming together to prepare this subdivision for what’s next.

Safety starts with education, consistency, and leadership.

This week, Carlos Alvarado and Yialdy Ruiz led important conversations across our teams about jobsite safety, safe work practices, and the responsibility we all share to protect one another every day.

From PPE and permits to pre-task planning, toolbox talks, traffic awareness, and overall site safety, Safety Week gave our crews a chance to refocus on what matters most: making sure everyone goes home safe.

A big thank you to Carlos, Yialdy, and our Safety Team for taking the time to lead these conversations and continue building a stronger safety culture at Carmichael Development.

National Safety Week Recap

This week, our Safety Department visited multiple job sites and locations to speak with our crews about the importance of safety on-site.

A special thank you to Carlos Alvarado and Yialdy Ruiz for taking the time and effort to lead these conversations and keep safety at the front of everything we do.

Today, the team reviewed key site safety practices, answered safety questions, earned some great prizes, and ended the talk with some good pupusas.

Overall, it was a great Safety Week. We look forward to continuing these conversations, teaching our teams, and reminding everyone that safety is something we practice every single day.

SITE PROGRESSION

Our team is wrapping up the mass grading phase on an 88,302 SF industrial warehouse site in Atlanta, with roughly 55,000 CY of dirt moved on site and underground utilities up next.

At this stage, production has been the difference maker. Moving around 5,500 CY per day has helped keep the site ahead of schedule and get the main building area ready sooner than anticipated.

Sitework always comes with field conditions to adjust to, but the goal stays the same: stay safe, stay flexible, and keep the project moving.

Throughout Safety Week, our Safety Team has been visiting job sites to speak with our crews about the importance of safety and why it matters in everything we do.

Today at our Fleet Yard Center, we were honored to welcome Sergeant Lupo and Lieutenant Brookshire from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. They spoke with our team about traffic enforcement, crash investigation, highway safety, and the shared responsibility of keeping Carmichael employees, drivers, and the general public safe.

Thank you to Sgt. Lupo, Lt. Brookshire, and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for taking the time to invest in our team and reinforce the importance of safe practices on the road and on the job.

At Carmichael, safety is not just a requirement — it is a responsibility we carry every day.
