🏡🔨 FROM AN UNFINISHED BASEMENT TO A WHOLE NEW LIVING SPACE — OUR WESTMONT BASEMENT PROJECT! 🔨🏡

We recently wrapped up an incredible basement renovation for one of our longtime customers in Westmont, Illinois, and this is one of those projects we’re especially proud to put the Just Fix It!! name on!

This wasn’t simply a fresh coat of paint or some new flooring. We took on the project from the ground up and transformed the space into a finished basement the family can enjoy for years to come.

🛠️ THE PROJECT INCLUDED:

✔️ Building and framing new walls
✔️ New electrical work
✔️ Drywall installation throughout the walls and ceilings
✔️ Taping, mudding, sanding & finishing
✔️ Priming and painting
✔️ New flooring
✔️ New baseboards, casing & finish trim
✔️ Installation of new doors
✔️ Multiple custom access panels so important areas remain accessible
✔️ Fabricating a custom split-door solution specifically for this basement
✔️ And plenty of detail work that you don’t always see once the finished product comes together!

One of our favorite parts of a project like this is figuring out solutions when a standard, off-the-shelf answer just isn’t going to work.

The stairs were a great example. We were able to come up with some new ideas and techniques to give the staircase a finished look that worked with the rest of the basement. The custom split door was another opportunity for our team to fabricate something specifically for the space rather than trying to force a standard solution.

That’s what Just Fix It!! is all about.

Sometimes you have to think outside the box, build it, modify it, or come up with an entirely different way of doing something to get the result the customer wants.

And seeing this basement go from where it started to the finished product made all of that work worth it!
