Just rained a ton making it super easy to dig up and relocate my salvia rockin playin the blues. In a couple weeks this will be full and gorgeous again. 💜

Day one of ? 😂 Today I pulled it 2 pop up bags full of crabgrass that was growing in my flowerbeds. 😭 I’m nowhere near done, but I’m making an attempt at clearing everything for bulb planting soon. 🌷

I love my bike. My trusty sidekick has been with me for over 20 years. This was my primary transportation any time I went to my Mom & Dad’s. I got it off of the hooks in the shed for the first time in years recently, and can’t wait to start riding again. 🚴

I’m hungry and mosquito bitten so I’m going in now.

My wonderful Dad. 🥰 He’s not Italian, but he may as well be. 😂 Mom is 100% Italian, and she doesn’t even like tomatoes, peppers, onions, or garlic. Dad makes up for it by growing all of this beauty. I can’t express how thankful I am to have my parents in my life, always an inspiration to me. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last week. I just adore them.

This year the garden has truly gotten away from me. It has been busier than I could have ever imagined working on getting our shop ready to open. We are a ways off still, and I’m just keeping pace with the progress and not rushing what I cannot control. I’m enjoying the glimpses of cooler weather and seeing Fall as an opportunity to really refresh and revisit things that I’ve let go. New beginnings! 🍁

Be sure to get your Spring blooming bulb orders in soon, before all of your faves get snapped up. Fall bulb planting always feels exciting to me. I know when Spring rolls around, I’ll be glad I did it! What’s on your must plant list?
