Do you need driftwood? Another “only in Brooklyn type of story”. Matias asked if we need driftwood? Sure we can always use driftwood for our ponds and waterfalls. He flagged down Robbie while pedaling his bicycle. He introduced us to Robbie. He said these guys need some driftwood. Robbie said to meet him in an hour at a building in Red Hook. One hour later we met Robbie at the building. He lead us upstairs and through a long hallway that seemed like over 1,000 feet long. At the end of the hallway we were lead down a set of steps and out to the Harbor. Robbie collects driftwood in NY Harbor. He said that he casts his fishing line out to catch driftwood as it flows by the building. Jackpot!!! the driftwood collection was presented we purchased all of it. Some for our Brooklyn pond some for future ponds and waterfalls. Yes, while in search of Moss and after meeting the Moss boss we discovered Robbie the driftwood guy!!! Thank you Matias.
