Kraft Mechanical is proud to have served as the General Contractor for a major HVAC and mechanical system upgrade at the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota.

This $661,000 project included the replacement of a rooftop unit, air handling unit, three condensing boilers, three furnaces, and nine fan coil units, along with extensive piping and ductwork upgrades. Working closely with the International Wolf Center, the DNR, and our sister company CAP Electric, we successfully completed the work while keeping the facility operational throughout construction.

The result? ✅ Improved energy efficiency

✅ Reduced maintenance requirements
✅ Long-term comfort and performance for visitors and staff

Kraft Mechanical recently completed a critical heating infrastructure upgrade at Empire Apartments in St. Cloud, MN. Our team replaced two existing 2,000,000 BTU boilers located in the building's 11th-floor penthouse mechanical room, ensuring reliable heating performance and improved energy efficiency for residents.

This complex project required careful planning, coordination, and ex*****on to safely remove and replace high-capacity equipment in a confined space while minimizing disruptions to building operations.

Kraft Mechanical is proud to have played a key role in transforming the former Sunrise Park Middle School into a modern, 120,000-square-foot community campus serving the White Bear Lake Area Schools District Service Center, Senior Center, Early Childhood Center, and Transition Education Center.

Completed in three phases while maintaining ongoing operations, this $10.1 million renovation included significant HVAC and plumbing upgrades designed to improve efficiency, comfort, and long-term performance.

🔧 Project Highlights:
✅ New 355-ton chiller installation
✅ Conversion of steam boilers to energy-efficient hydronic heating
✅ More than 12,500 feet of hydronic piping installed
✅ HVAC infrastructure supporting 16 rooftop units and 18 VUVs
✅ New domestic water and sanitary piping systems
✅ Plumbing support for 150+ fixtures throughout the facility
