When a truck goes through the yard that’s just a little too big 😬 The light pole was splintered in half, and the mast torn from this house after a truck caught the overhead wires. Spent the evening getting things repaired, and today is onto another busy day.

Thank you to the crews who have worked tirelessly over the last 6 days. They’ve had minimal sleep, missed Easter with their families, and pushed through the hectic weather conditions to restore all services. Our hats off to you all, and we hope you get some much needed rest after today!

(While CWEC takes care of our immediate area, we also recognize the crews from Alliant, WPS, and others in the surrounding area who worked these long days as well)

2:15 p.m. UPDATE: We are down to 11 outages. Crews continue to work as fast and safely as possible restoring power. We should have all power restored today. We understand that the last few days have been a trying time for many with the power outages caused by the two ice storms. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding.
