🩷I’m only writing this because they say it takes a village. I wasn’t going to post, but decided I wanted to let everyone know that while we were sitting on our pontoon, fishing poles in hand, the day before my 60th Birthday on a beautiful day on the lake I got the unfortunate call with the results from my yearly mammogram and was diagnosed with breast cancer🙁Luckily we caught it early and I have already had surgery to remove the lump, but this journey has been a roller coaster. I am continually getting updates on different tests due to me being adopted and having no medical history and it looks like this may be a longer road than I planned for and for that reason I wanted to share this with everyone. Breast cancer is not something you should go through alone and I have had so many important people in my life by my side and I appreciate all of them so much. W***y has been so comforting through everything and such a wonderful support system for me💙he’s even been a little sentimental at times😊💙And my kids Jasmine Seguin🩷and Will May IV💙 have been so supportive, loving and kind. For me the highlight of the first surgery…my 36 year old daughter drying my body after my (finally) 24 hour shower 💕💕💕(tytyty Shoog 💕I felt like the tables had turned 🤭hehe🤭). My BFF Teri has checked on me daily and given me so much encouragement and advice 👯‍♀️🌻💕I like to refer to her as Doc Bridges😉💕. These people I mentioned are simply a blessing to me💙🩷💙🩷There’s so many people I need to mention Cathy my other bestie🩷, my cousins Carol and Angie, Tami, Tara, Janice, Jean, Launa, Allison, Paula, Jan, Sue,Tony, Helen, Patti, Sara, Abs, Ann, Peg, Anne, Kathy, Doug, Brenda, Lori, Tiffany, Alice, Karen, Kellie, Jess, my work crew and sooooo many more (you all know who you are🩷I know I’ve missed a bunch). I’ve had people reach out that I didn’t even know they knew who I was🩷I’ve gotten texts, calls, flowers, food, treats and cards of encouragement!!! I still have more surgery’s to go and more information to find out but I am strong and I will get through this!!!
Thank you to everyone who has been by my side and has reached out to check on me. I luv everyone for all of your love and support 🩷I will not let this beat me!!!

FYI!!!!!… I usually don’t post stuff like this especially how longggggggg it is but this one is interesting and I have a lot of friends that could benefit from reading it…
I was at Wendy's recently (I really wasn’t at Wendy’s HEHE but somebody was and this post became of it👍🏼) I heard a man ask for his senior discount. The girl at the register apologized and charged him less. When I asked the man what the discount was, he told me that seniors over age 55 ...get 10% off everything on the menu, every day. (But you need to ASK for your discount.)

This incident prompted me to do some research, and I came across a list of restaurants, supermarkets, department stores, travel deals and other types of offers giving various discounts with different age requirements.
