We are saddened to share with you all the passing of our employee & friend Brian Dye. He started at Crockett in February 2018, and always showed up with a smile, excited to work! Brian loved working and was a joy to our office!

🌱The weather may be gloomy, but Spring is right around the corner🌼
➡️ Daylight savings, don’t forget to “spring ahead” your clocks tonight 🕰️
➡️ With melting snow & heavy rain it’s important to keep an eye on your drain field. Follow these tips to ensure a well-working system:
1. Watch for standing water or “soggy” spots
2. Never drive over with any heavy equipment, even atvs & utvs
3. Divert any rainwater from gutters or sump pump away to prevent over saturation
4. Signs of trouble can be foul odors or slow/gurgling draining pipes
5. Schedule an inspection; Spring is a great time for any needed maintenance, that can save money in avoiding a septic emergency

🥶We hope everyone is prepared for the subzero temperatures heading our way!🥶
Some things to remember:
▪️If your system is not snow covered applying hay or mulch can provide a layer of insulation to help prevent freezing
▪️Do not plow snow overtop your system
▪️Use water routinely throughout the day but DO NOT leave a constant trickle as it can overload a septic system
▪️Avoid any equipment or driving over your system, this includes snowmobiles & four wheelers
▪️Holding tank alarms should be called on urgently
▪️Most importantly; when in doubt call a professional! Freezing septics can result in expensive damages, our technicians are happy to help with any & all questions!
