SATURDAY HOURS UPDATE. This Saturday, May 30th will be our last Saturday of being open for the year. I greatly appreciate all the support of our community over the past 20 years and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to your weekend projects. After 20 years of myself and my staff working 6 days a week, it is time that I set aside some time to spend with my family and I hope that everyone understands and will support this decision. For those of you that have weekend projects coming up, please remember that we offer a friendly delivery service for a very fair rate. Try to get your orders in by Wednesday in order to give us time to have your materials delivered to your house for the weekend.

Once again, I greatly appreciate all the support the community has shown to New River Mulch over the years and I look forward to continuing to service all your landscape supply needs in the future! We will continue to operate Mon-Fri from 8-5.

We are Hiring!

We have an open position for an Operations Manager. Duties will include overseeing daily sales, customer service, scheduling and managing a timely delivery schedule, inventory control and daily operations. Qualified applicants should have a solid work history with references, be well organized, be able to multitask efficiently and have excellent customer service skills.

This is not just an office job! Qualified applicant must also be able and willing to operate a skid steer loader, be able to safely operate a dump truck and willing to load material by hand when necessary. Willing to train the right individual on equipment operation if needed.

Bagged Mulch update. We had previously decided to not stock bagged mulch for this season, however many of our bagged mulch customers have come in looking for bags. After hearing from several customers that they don't prefer to go to the big box store, I have decided to bring in one load of bagged mulch for the season in order to service our loyal customers. We should have this load in stock by the end of the week. If you need bagged mulch, please call to make sure it has arrived and we will be happy to service your needs. As of now, this will be the only planned load for the season.

We are very excited to see the change in the weather and know that Spring is right around the corner! We are getting a lot of questions about our Saturday hours. We plan to start opening on Saturday's the first weekend in April. Until then, we are here Mon-Fri from 8-5. If you need material for a weekend project, remember that we offer a friendly delivery service at very reasonable rates. Currently we are running on about a 2 day turnaround for scheduled deliveries. Enjoy the weather and we look forward to servicing all your Spring projects!
