In Des Moines, Iowa we went and patched the front stoop where concrete steps had settled, new steps will be poured over this area, covering the repair. Then we tuckpointed deteriorated mortar on the side walls along with replacing any broken brick. Customer plans to repaint all sides, so color matching or clean-up wasn't a priority here.
