We finally got a little rain, so we decided it would be fitting to make a rain garden.

Sawyer County Zoning requires rain gardens for certain impermeable structures to help prevent sediment runoff and to clean the rain water before it makes it makes its way to lakes, rivers and streams.

Talk about a before and after! Shout out to Richie Herbst for the great staining job😎

This job was a challenge! We battled through the extreme heat and smoke everyday of this project. The home and addition sits very low and we had to get creative to stop water from running into the home.

The final product turned out great and we are very proud of the results of our hard work.

Thank you to these wonderful customers. It was a pleasure to work on your property 😊

Oakleaf is installing this decorative retaining wall to help control water issues and also give the customers a large planting area. We can't wait to see the final results!

Things don't always go as planned but we all pull together and find a solution.

Our dump truck had a faulty oil pump installed before the season started and is getting a new one installed. Next, our pickup decided to quit getting fuel to the engine.

Couldn't ask for a better crew to help get the vehicles back up and running!

Time to start thinking about some vehicle upgrades 🤔

These customers on Lake Winter had a failing rock retaining wall that was moving 1-2' per year towards their beams holding up their porch.

Oakleaf added a large row of boulders and replaced clay with 3/4" rock to allow for proper drainage. This wall shouldn't be going anywhere!

Last week Oakleaf gave these old flowerbeds a much needed fresh start!

We carefully removed old evergreens without knocking down the rock walls. The old shrubs were replaced with dogwoods and a river birch cluster.

This morning Monroe was running the dump truck and Maverick was learning to the install drain tile from downspouts. He sure is getting the hang of the excavator 🫣😊
