This customer's AC system was struggling to keep up. Fortunately, she has a home warranty company. Unfortunately, she was told she would still need to pay "ballpark $1,900" to clean the system! Turns out all she had was a couple of clogged filters. We changed them out 5 days ago and customer notified me the system has been cooling fine since! When in doubt, call Mike's AC! : )

I had a customer today who was quoted $1,000 to replace a defrost board. So, he took matters into his own hands and replaced it himself. Problem is, it still didn't work because the problem wasn't the defrost board! I arrived to find the compressor plug and terminals had corroded, keeping the compressor from working. Knowing he took pride in fixing things himself, I told him about compressor terminal repair kits. If you know anything about making secure electrical connections, you know he has his work cut out for him from the picture, but I'm happy to tailor my services to meet my customers' interests.

While all UV lights may not be as excited as this first one, they are still effective in sanitizing the inside of your blower cabinet which, due to its wet, dark environment is prone to fungal growth in the airflow to your home!
