After working as a lead installer and lead technician for a local HVAC service company, I started Mike's AC to provide the same high quality service at value prices.

Public Service Announcement!

While I don't mean to give away secrets of the trade, there are some visual cues, if you will, you as the homeowner can look for to know if your HVAC drain is due for some preventative maintenance! 😁

This could be what's growing in your AC condensate drain line right now - unknowingly clogging your drain and causing a future breakdown! : ) This can also be prevented by scheduling routing preventative maintenance.

Pulled this out of a customer's drain after his AC wouldn't turn on.

It feels like it looks.

OOF! At Mike's AC, we know rising gas prices are a challenge for everyone.
That's why we are committed to not raising our already below market prices on services and repairs through 2026!
Having your AC fail can be stressful enough. Call someone who values your peace of mind over selling a new system.

A primary cause of HVAC breakdowns is poor drainage. Once it has clogged, routine treatment will be needed, but you have different treatment options. The following videos show the level of scum that a basic flush removes vs the tougher buildup that a chemical drain treatment will remove. 🤢

This customer's AC system was struggling to keep up. Fortunately, she has a home warranty company. Unfortunately, she was told she would still need to pay "ballpark $1,900" to clean the system! Turns out all she had was a couple of clogged filters. We changed them out 5 days ago and customer notified me the system has been cooling fine since! When in doubt, call Mike's AC! : )

I had a customer today who was quoted $1,000 to replace a defrost board. So, he took matters into his own hands and replaced it himself. Problem is, it still didn't work because the problem wasn't the defrost board! I arrived to find the compressor plug and terminals had corroded, keeping the compressor from working. Knowing he took pride in fixing things himself, I told him about compressor terminal repair kits. If you know anything about making secure electrical connections, you know he has his work cut out for him from the picture, but I'm happy to tailor my services to meet my customers' interests.
