As you may have seen in a recent email from the City of Carrollton, several notable developments are currently underway across our community. Here’s a snapshot of what’s happening around town:
• Stewart Landing
Located off Stewart Street next to Hobbs Farm Park. Clearing and grading began this fall. This neighborhood will include 35 single-family homes, priced from $650,000.
• East Chase
Located near the DMV off Burns Road and Old Newnan Road. Home construction began at the end of the year. This neighborhood will feature 47 small cottages, priced from $300,000.
• The Carrollton Flats
A 237-unit multifamily development off Centennial Drive that is currently under construction. This Class A, garden-style apartment community will include a clubhouse, resort-style pool, fitness center, dog park, walking paths, and outdoor green spaces.
• The Collective
Located off Rome Street. Clearing and grading began at the end of 2025. This neighborhood will offer 3-bedroom, 2-bath townhomes with single-car garages, priced at $290,000.
• Millstone
Located off Martin Cemetery Road. Home construction began this fall. This estate residential community includes 30 lots, with Phase 1 homes priced from the high $700,000s.
• Downtown Mixed Use Project
Broke ground in 2025 and will include 80 one- and two-bedroom multifamily units. Completion is anticipated in 2027, with studio rental rates starting at $1,250.
• Legacy Place
Located off Maple Street. Infrastructure and road construction were completed in 2025. This 32-lot neighborhood is currently listed for sale at $4,750,000.
• The Overlook at Oak Mountain
Located off Horsley Mill Road. Phase 1 is underway and includes 41 single-family homes, priced from the mid $300,000s.
• The Preserve at the Birches
Located on Maple Street and currently under construction. This active adult 55+ community will include 83 single-family homes, priced from the $400,000s.
